My story

When I was younger I used to have terrible stomach aches. During meals, I would barely eat anything and tell my parents, "my tummy hurts".  I would go lay down on my right side hoping the pain would ease. For years, my family didn't think much of it, until I told the doctor about my problems. I took many blood tests and one of them came up positive. My parents started to worry and talked to the doctor until they came up with a solution. They thought I had celiac. At first, we had no idea what that or gluten even meant, but overtime we began realize that I had to start eating a gluten free diet. At first it was hard, and I was extremely unhappy. I felt like it was just another bad thing that was going to ruin my life. Then my mom learned how to cook and we discovered tons of amazing gluten free recipes. I couldn't have done it without the help and support of my parents and family. Since then, I have gotten into it and realized that it is healthier for me. I couldn't have done it without the help and support of my parents and family. Being gluten free is hard, but not impossible.
